First job my senior year of high school. Started speed skating after I quit. Loved the rink, management (Hakim family), and all my co-workers. Would skate sessions as well as practice... Loved the turkeys on top of the sound booth ( until they got out!). Lots of great memories. Always felt SkateWorld surpassed Ambassador, Motor City, The Rink, Great Skate and Northland. Also was the best rink for competitions. Glad to see it is still around. I still have my dance skates and speed skates.... My have to bring them next time I visit and try one of those adult nights!

im 13 and i love skateing!! Skateworld is one of the best places.The floor is easy to skate on. The music is good. SkateWorld is the best place. I go skateing every Saturday.The staff are really nice too.

Well im a 13 year old teenager who loves skating here! i never "loved" skating until i came to Skate World. I come with my friends almost every week. Its a great atmosphere for teens and young adults in my opinion. The music gets you moving and always wanna come back to burn of some more steam before the school season starts back up. And of course you have the races and other weekly activities going on. I recommend this to ALL teenagers and young adults to come and give this place a shot. I love it and im sure you will to!

Im a 13 year old teenager and i love skate world

I skated in my teens and now I am a Mom who brought my 10 year old to skate on a whim a few months ago. Now we skate twice a week. I bring my Mom, my daughter's friends, my girl scout troop, my girl friends. I just think its a great workout for adults and kids (Moms; Did you know you can burn 750 calories an hour?!). We LOVE Skate World! Everyone is friendly and helpful. Its part of our weekly schedule now!

Skate World of Troy has always been one of my favorite rinks. I skated Regionals there, it was my last competitive meet and had a wonderful time. The rink is beautiful and the staff is really friendly. My skaters love visiting Skate World and I look forward to visiting again soon!
